Italiaanse inflatie loopt op

De Italiaanse consumentenprijzen zijn in maart harder gestegen. Dit bleek maandag uit voorlopige cijfers van Istat, het Italiaanse bureau voor de statistiek.
Op maandbasis stegen de consumentenprijzen met 0,4 procent en op jaarbasis met 2,0 procent. In februari was de jaarstijging nog 1,6 procent.
Vooral niet-gereguleerde energieproducten zorgden in maart voor de stijging op jaarbasis, aldus Istat. En ook tabak werd nog duurder.
De kerninflatie bleef in maart stabiel op 1,7 procent.
